Grounded in years of hands-on practice, Jolene continues to deepen her knowledge of somatics, rhythm, and the inner patterns that shape our physical experience. This ongoing study led her to a new dimension of care: Hanna Somatic Education. It became clear that her business needed a fresh identity to reflect this expanded scope. We began with a full rebrand, starting with the name Freebird Bodywork. The new name signals autonomy, release, and presence. Her original site, created early in her career, no longer reflected the clarity or inclusivity she wanted to offer. Jolene was committed to sharing policies of engagement and building a space aligned with her values of openness, consent, and community care.
In 2025, we expanded her platform further. Jolene began offering Shinrin Yoku, or forest bathing, as part of her somatic approach. These outdoor sessions connected the nervous system to nature in a grounded, accessible way that has infinite healing effects, especially in times like the ones we are living in. We also restructured parts of the site to help her invite a wider audience. Her practice had long attracted clients through word of mouth, but she was ready to speak more clearly to new visitors and guide them through her offerings with ease.
Visually, the site needed to feel like a breath of wind off the coast. We worked with deep earth tones, cinematic textures, and a palette drawn from fog banks, river mud, ink, and the soft gold of the setting sun. We paired this with edited movement footage to mirror the sensation of the body in flight. The result is an interactive experience that invites visitors to feel the transformation, not just read about it.

Nicacelly is a true alchemist. Her ability to transmute my vague and general idea of "a vibe" into a tangible, evocative product was astounding. Working with Nica to create a new website was a fun and enlightening experience - two words that I would have ever used to describe this process before meeting her!
